Please contact our office and we can send you a link for a photo estimate. Although we prefer to assess your vehicle in person, this will allow us to estimate and assess the damages to your vehicle.
Upon completion of your repair plan / estimate, our estimator will give you an estimated Target date. We need a signed authorization by you and the insurance carrier to order parts and move forward with the repairs. Parts typically take 1-2 weeks. Although some vehicles may be more difficult to locate the parts. Upon receipt of all the sourced parts, we will begin repair. Please note that some parts might be ordered while your vehicle is in repair as our estimator could not see the internal damages, thus delaying the repair process.
Please send us an email or contact our office so we can discuss estimates on parts and tentatively schedule a date to drop your vehicle. Additionally, we request that you contact your insurance carrier. We will verify if your file is approved by the insurance carrier and that we have an “Authorization to Repair Form” complete and in file.
If you wish to repair the vehicle at Studio Auto Body, please submit to Studio Auto Body as this is the initial process to order parts.
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Please provide your claim number when scheduling your appointment and we can initiate the repair process.
Check with your insurance policy and/ or call your insurance carrier to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are. If you have rental coverage, your insurance adjuster will assist you with setting up the rental reservations. We will contact the rental agency courtesy repair shuttle when you drop your vehicle at Studio Auto Body.
Please arrange for alternative transportation or contact your insurance adjustor to arrange a rental reservation.
Make sure we have the wheel lock for your tires (if needed) for the repair process.
Please have a registration and current insurance card in your vehicle.
We recommend a full tank when dropping your vehicle in the event a calibration is necessary.
Arrange for billing instruction with the responsible party.
Please remove all your valuables for your vehicle, including your parking pass, garage door opener, car seat, including items in your trunk.
Our insurance covers damage to your vehicle as a result of fire, theft or employee error. It only covers the vehicle and its factory installed parts. We don’t assume any liability for other items that you choose to leave in your vehicle.
Please remove any tools on racks, surfboards and / or accessories as this may affect the calibration process; loss, theft or damage of items will not be the responsibility of Studio Auto Body.
A deductible is similar to a “co-pay” for your health coverage. It is a portion of the repair bill that is not covered by your insurance policy and it is set when you first purchase your insurance policy.
Deductibles are typically $100, $250, $500 and $1,000. Typically the higher your insurance deductible, the lower your insurance policy. Please contact your insurance agent regarding your deductible.
Your deductible is paid directly to Studio Auto Body when your repairs are complete. The insurance company pays us for the work completed minus your deductible.
No personal checks.
Checks received from the insurance company should be endorsed to Studio Auto Body.
